Have you noticed that tsconfig.msc and tsadmin.msc are missing since Windows 2012? These are very convenient utilities and they are often much easier than using server manager or group policy to achieve the same tasks. Luckily its not too hard to get the working again and to create a convenient shortcut on the desktop or taskbar.
For example, you can use tsconfig.msc to make all rdp sessions log out when they are disconnected for say 30 min
For Step 1 and 2, if you dont have Windows 2008 R2, you can download the files here if you prefer
