Microsoft Azure, if you don’t already know, is a cloud computing service created by Microsoft for building, testing, deploying, and managing applications and services through a global network of Microsoft-managed data centres. Its similar to Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Azure can pretty much host anything from Active Directory, File shares, entire windows server machines that have been migrated from premises or even just simple Linux or Windows servers to do one task. They also host websites and web applications of almost any description.
We have built some simple Dot Net applications for customers based around forms and databases for booking systems and clinical trials and many other services. These are all safely and easily hosted on Azure. We have also hosted Remote Desktop for many organisations and our team have a good skill set around this as we have been doing this for years. This is certainly something to look at if you do know already use it or know about it for your clients.
